WiFi Network Solutions for Business

What types of network exist
There are different types:
- Home or office network
- Long-distance connection
- Long-distance access point to the client
- Point to multipoint network
- Neighbor to neighbor network
- Hybrid networks
Home or office network
Mostly, in-home networks or small office networks, the router and AP may be joined into an individual project. This is normally named a wireless router. It may also have a DSL, Cable, 3G, or 4G port to implement the Internet connection. In large office summaries, there may be few access points separated throughout the facility to contribute more even wireless coverage, attached back to the router through long Ethernet cables.
Long-distance connection
Wireless networks can be applied to unite distant facilities or areas. It regularly needs focused antennas that can transmit a linear beam in a specific spot.
A long-distance connection can be also called a “point-to-point”, or “PtP” link. The term explains the pattern: two points are connected together, and nothing else. This needs two wireless devices: one installed as an Access Point and the other one as a Client.
Long-distance access point to the client
An access point can be positioned on a pillar and able to connect with a client machine very far away, since the devices are facing one another.
Point to multipoint network
If we mix the two types of network building described above – connecting lots of devices to an AP and more convincing antennas used for outdoor projects to create more extended links – we can create a point to multipoint networks. These are larger range AP networks, where there is a single method in the center managing all of the clients connected to it and spanning those connections to the Internet.
These varieties of networks are handled by Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) to connect residences and businesses to the Internet. Instead of spreading cables around a neighborhood or town.
Neighbor to neighbor network
A mesh network uses the pattern of point to multipoint and stretches it to the purpose of every node connecting to every other node in a specific range. This needs that all the tools are in the Ad-Hoc mode – wireless devices all in AP mode or client mode can’t maintain the same function.
Hybrid networks
When creating a town or neighborhood networks, it may be challenging to use a single way to connect everyone. For example, a single point to a multipoint network may not reach an entire area. Mesh nodes can be used to lengthen client sites to nearby constructions. Point to point connections can span longer distances and combine a few disconnected networks together.
Security of WiFi networks
During WiFi evolution it facing diverse deployment objections, which have motivated to build new vendor innovation and new standards. Administration and security, nevertheless, stay sustained affairs. And unlike the speeds and feeds, vast differences exist between vendors. And unlike speeds and channels, there are huge differences between providers.
Securing business communications, personal information, financial transactions, and the mobile devices of your users means much more than Wi-Fi access control. It demands to scan for malware, preventing access to wicked websites, endpoint integrity, monitoring and guiding application usage. But typical cloud Wi-Fi solutions don’t meet these requirements. Front Desk Helpers has an innovative approach that completely excludes this shortcoming in all existing cloud Wi-Fi contributions.
Front Desk Helpers Wireless LAN solutions are intended to implement the award-winning and third-party-validated security software in every sort of deployment, from a single AP in a private office to a few APs in a retail store to hundreds of APs deployed over a large business campus. Our Wi-Fi product groups empower any business to select the network management that satisfies them best, without having to compromise on security stability.
WiFi network development trends
The growing trend is about human’s desire to work remotely, a lot of people might prefer to work at home, to exclude wasting time on the way to the office, and about 15% would like to constantly travel.
Wireless Wi-Fi technology (branch of 802.11 standards) is considered today to be the most promising. The development of Wi-Fi networks and infrastructure for hot spots, mobile technologies with a built-in Wi-Fi software solution are leading to the fact that end-users (except for corporate customers) began to pay more attention precisely to this technology. Such solutions are considered primarily as a means of deploying mobile and stationary wireless local area networks, as well as a means of online access to the Internet. However, the end-user, as a rule, is not well versed in network technologies, so it is difficult for him to make a choice when buying a wireless solution.
Wi-Fi networks have a great future because people strive for greater mobility and for high-speed connections. Within the accepting of new standards – the speed, reliability, and convenience of access to the Internet grow, so we can confidently say that this technology is a solid and has a progressive basis for its development, meanwhile possessing sufficient flexibility to meet new market needs. Wi-Fi already provides mobility and due to the future of WiMax (IEEE 802.16), a high-speed connection is expected.
